The hooks are different sizes, so make sure you pick one with the size you want. What a wonderful idea!
I already bought one and I can't wait to receive it!

LadyShuttleMakers' retractable hook pen are not only functional; their form is lovely. Kudos to LSM! I have 3! 2 have different size hooks; and, one is a stocking stuffer.
I have a yellow "Sunflower Lady", a "Cherub", and a Blue one (I do so love blues ~ 'cept for pastel or baby blue) I love it that they are so flat they can serve as a bookmark; a real plus in my book (Oh my, another dreadful, unin-intentioned pun; but, I'm leaving it!)

Any suggestions on the best size to have if you only buy one?

Hi mathbook28 (Charming login, I'd love to hear the story of it!)
In my experiences a size 12 will handle everything from a size 80 to a 20 thread. That's a pretty good spread. I like smaller crochet hooks, but if you prefer a larger hook, then I would go with a size 11 as my one and only retractable hook.
