I just got a message from an etsy friend, she saw this post in one of her forums & I said I would pass it on to you good people!

Gentlebeings:

Don't know if this is off topic or not, since it pertains to the needle arts. I am trying to find someone, who does needle tatting, in the general area of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, who would be willing to take on one student.

I have a friend living there, who would like to learn how to tat. I've sent her a few photographs, a youtube site, and a list of books, but she still needs to have some one on one instructions. Anybody know anyone?

Peace

You can access Handy Hands here (http://www.hhtatting.com/). Barbara Foster is very helpful.

I am not in the twin cities area but the central wisconsin area and am going to be starting a tatting group in the Madison area at one of the local community centers. If any are in this area or would like to travel to this area for this group, please drop me an email or message.

I know this is an old post, but I am currently trying to get a tatting group going in the Twin Cities area. There may be some needle tatters that join us. Anyone interested in more info can email us at: twincitiestatters@gmail.com

My nephew's wife lives in Eau Claire and is part of a shuttle tatting group there. I'll send this to her. Not sure if she's doing as much tatting as she did before getting married. LOL... 2nd marriage for both.
