i've made these ones with gutterman sulky cotton 30
i think later on that i'm gonna try to combine them for a wishing card
hope you all like them and when you can help me to improve please let me know,
I can see I'm going to have to find myself some gutterman sulky thread. The colors, especially in the second doily, are gorgeous. The only comment I have on your tatting right now concerns tension. It's hard to tell from these photos, but it looks like in the first doily that you may have uneven tension. Or, it may be that you haven't blocked the doily yet? It's hard to tell. If it's a tension issue, you'll get it with time. It just takes a bit of practice. If it's blocking, that is easily and quickly remedied. You're doing good work; don't think you aren't. Just keep going.

Both are very nice, but I am missing something on the first one.. It seems to be only one row from celtic doily for me..
But the second one is really perfect and thread seems to be very nice too ;-)

Very nice work. What size are these pieces? I would think just a couple of inches?

i didn't block the doily because i was going to attache on a card, the tension can be better but with this thread it's easier already and they have 32 different varigated colours i think,

Really pretty work. I like both of them. I especially like second one, both the thread and the pattern. Gorgeous!

Such nice work! Getting the tension right is as difficult as getting picots uniform, but it comes with practice. Looks like you're WELL on your way! Love the colors in both.
Thank you so much for sharing!! You're doing wonderful!
