does anyone remember seeing a clover edging in the last couple of days? I can't remember if I saw it in someone's album or just as an insert in someone's post. I have my shuttles all wound and ready and can't find it. If anyone can direct me to any good clover edging, I would love it.

so....not to be outdone, I have started two different clover edgings. one is with size 20 (love it) and the other is size 80 (hate it) I must say the 80 is so pretty and dainty but I just am too impatient to work with the fine stuff. I have yanked and cut and jerked and pulled on it twice as much as the 20, but I am determined to do the edging with it. need some encouragement here!

What I am doing is the pattern in the 20 first. That way I will really learn the pattern right down into my fingers (making enough mistakes with 20 and retro tatting) THEN I will start the 80 which is such a different feel. Since I am almost finished with the 20 and I have the hang of the pattern I will only (?) have to get used to the different feel of the 80 (and with 80 I will have to use the magnifier so I can see the knots)

We will have to see how that helps me. Maybe that would help you.

PS: I really know this edging pattern now.

OK, Georgeann. Deep breaths. Relax. You can do this. First, finish the size 20 edging. Then, after you know the pattern as well as a completed project can make you know it, move to the smaller thread. You can do this. You will feel a bit of difference in the way the thread works in your fingers, but it is only a perception thing. The pattern is the same, and you know the pattern. Move slowly and have fun with it. You can do this. I have every confidence in you. You can do this.
