I just posted a new quick video on split chains and Josephine Chains if anyone is interested...fair warning, I'm talking on this one.

Slick! Thanks, no more fumbling with written descriptions. I really like the Josephine Chains hint to twist once every 10 half stitches. I can see I have a ways to go to get my picots in as fast as you do.

Wow, many thanks for the tutorial - especially the tip for making the Josephine Chain.

Every time I see the way you work, it makes me think that I really should try learning the needle again. Sigh. Guess I'll just have to quit looking at your so clear demos. :ermm:

Thanks for this video.. I tried needle for tatting and I had feeling that it is horrible working with it.. on your video it seems that nothing is easier ;-))

Great job and I am sure it will be helpful to some of the newer needle tatters out there. Thanks

My only complaint is that I didn't find this until after I'd already tried to learn it from inferior written directions. Great job! This clarifies a lot of details for me, as well as making me jealous that you're so fast.

Wow. This is great. Thanks so much. It helps a lot.

Can you do one showing how to do the Little owl earrings? I'd really like to learn it.

I've never made those, so definitely not the right person for that tutorial!

I was a total newbie when I saw this video. You explained it beautifully! It gave me the idea for a Christmas gift for my little granddaughter.

I used size 10 cotton and a size 3 needle (I thought I was using a 5) so the designs are a little loose (and I didn't get the flowers perfect). But I thought you might like to see what you inspired.

Thank you so much for showing me how to do it!

So glad it passed the test with them, simplicity. That means my granddaughter will probably like it, too! :)

Thank you, rsmre. It was a first project, so I was pretty proud of it. I figure Skylar will not be too critical about the beginner tatting. :)

Thanks, carolivy and crazytatter. I have learned a lot since I did it and thought about redoing it from scratch. But I think it has a cute Raggedy Ann charm, so I'm leaving it as is. :)
