Which is the particular book you're asking about,Zahava? - there are several jewellery books. I don't tat jewellery, but if you give us the title, there will be plenty of other people here who will know about it!

Most shuttle tatting patterns can be needle tatted. I know that before I learned the shuttle this past January I needle tatted and bought all tatting books and never had a problem needle tatting any of the patterns. If you have questions the people here are wonderful at helping out.

Lyn Morton's book is for those doing shuttle tatting, but the articles can be transposed for needle tatters. It illustrates the articles in metallic thread, but any thread you want can be used, just as long as you match the bead sizes with your thread.
