While I'm fairly certain most of you don't need any more basic instruction. I just published another instructable on needle tatting.
This one was meant to help with Split rings, Josephine knot chains and clovers.
I also have one there for a basic flower as well as my mask. Please share with anyone you think might need/like them...thanks!

Thank you for sharing. I'm trying to get around to doing your mask. :)
Thank you!! I need to get some other colors before I tat your pattern. Looks beautiful! :)

Thansk for the weblink! I've been wanting to try my hand at needle tatting and I am such a visual person so your instructions are great!
Great instructions!! I love the necklace and want to do some for gifts. Thanks for sharing your creativity and work!

Looks great! Thanks for the heads up on my mistake too...it's fixed now!
This pattern works up so fast I did a second one with small pearl colored beads and gave my first one away as a gift this evening! :) I love a good, fast pattern with lots of "ooooooh" factor. (Ohhhhh factor is how many ooohs and aaahs one gets when showing off a craft.) :)

That's great! I try to make my patterns as quick as possible, since I generally remake them...a lot.
