I've just added a new section to the Pattern Library for personal websites. If you have a personal website please go to the Pattern Library and submit a link to your site.

All links are moderated so it will not show up until it gets approved. Images are created by hand so they will follow afterwards. (If you have a particular image you wish to be used please send me a private message)

I'm working on the rules and rates for commercial listings at the moment. (if you have thoughts on that do let me know)

Kersti,

Will you have a separate section for links to groups or guilds?

Hi Susan

Click on "personal websites" at the top click on "submit a link". Then there is a box for the URL.

Yes there will be a section for guilds and groups. Just looking at the best way to organise those. Should they be under commercial? If not, can there be any break downs and what would they be? An official guild for example is not the same as an informal group. Since a guild would charge a membership fee, should there be a small fee for inclusion in a directory?

Just a reminder. If you have any individual patterns that are free to users, these should be added to the pattern links section of the library.

I'm reviewing commercial site arrangements at the moment. If you sell things off your website you have a commercial site. I'll be letting you know about linking those in the next few days.

Thanks. I could not see it last night for anything and this morning it stuck out... big and bold.

I have some, but they are in .pdf format. Can they be added? If so, how do I do that?

If they are online you can link to them as normal, just put in the url for the pdf. You can also send me the links - make sure that if you have pics you want to use you let me know, I assume nothing

Oh, that's the problem. On the ning Etatters site I could actually upload and store the .pdf files at Etatters. I don't have any place on line to keep them, so was wondering if there was a way to upload a .pdf here. Perhaps I will see if I can put them into .jpg files then create an album. Then there would be a url for the file. I'll see what I can figure out -- either that, or keep them all for myself

Marty you can upload them to an online storage and then use the link provided for the document. I use eSnips.com (http://esnips.com) It's free and give you 5Gb of storage.

Thanks Wally and Kersti!
I think, in order to avoid piling more work on you, Kersti, I will investigate the eSnips option first. If I'm too technologically challenged  to figure that out then I may resort to pestering you!

Well done! I'm glad that Knots is working again. Can you please tell me how to locate it? I had a look, but couldn't find it.

You *should* be able to attach a PDF to any post here. If not, send me the pdfs I can upload them for you.
