I'm in the Lexington, KY, USA area. I am confident enough to teach in the following areas: needle tatting, lacis, teneriffe, beading (jewelry making), dyeing with MX dyes, and weaving--I specialize in hand manipulated leno. I also dabble in a variety of other things.
Also, I am left handed, so I understand the lefty dilemma with needlework.

So do you give lessons or would you be willing to give lessons in tatting?

Hello Ladies,
I'm new to tatting. Just wanted to say Hi from a fellow Kentuckian :) I'm close to Lexington too. A close friend of mine in my crochet group got me started about 2 weeks ago and I'm totally hooked!!!

Hey y'all....I'm also in KY, but a couple hours from Lexington. I'm in north eastern KY where KY, OH, and WV come together. I'm a new tatter and am learning needle tatting. I don't know how to shuttle tat and it looks really hard when I've looked at video's on youtube. LOL :)

I just wanted to say "hello" since I also live in Kentucky : ) I am near Danville but come to Lexington quite often. I used to tat (shuttle) many years ago. I even taught classes & started a tatting group in the town where I lived at the time. Unfortunately life got in the way (as it so often does) & the last time I tatted was probably 10 years ago if not more. Recently I have wanted to start tatting again ... first because I thought a tatted edging would be nice to use on my counted cross stitch finishes but then I started getting drawn back to it more & more ... lol! Hopefully I will be able to pick it back up quickly again. I was led to InTatters via the Tatta-Tatt Tatting group on Ravelry (I'm sajehill over there if anyone wants to friend me) : )
