I'm slowly getting it through YouTube and Intatters and the NSAN group, but I really need someone to show me how to do it in real life!
I wish I could be there in real life for you, Catt. That being impossible, please post what you are having difficulty with, and we'll all do our best to help you. Don't worry about how slowly it seems to come for you. The point is that you are working on it, and it will come.

I'm in southern Ontario too! I'd say I'll help you, but you probably know about as much as I do. I've been trying to teach myself as well.

I hope I didn't scare you off with the pattern. It really isn't hard, just a little awkward at first.
Don't give up on it though-once you understand it you won't remember it giving you difficulties at all!

I'm in London, but am over in Cambridge a couple times a month....not sure i can teach you much since I am just wining it myself, but it might be fun to meet up for a for a tat and chat.

The Fringe Element Tatters are having a conference in Cambridge Ontario this weekend (Sept 23/24). Check out their website for details. There will be lots of tatters in attendance.

Sometimes they meet at someone's house in Kitchener. I've been to their Kitchener meetings before. They are a bunch of great people and extremely willing to teach the novice. Unfortunately I live in Ottawa now so I can't make it to their drop ins anymore.
