Hi All,
I have finished the 6th length of my scarf and started on the 7th.......one more after that and I may have the width I want so that I can then start joining the lengths together......I am still enjoying myself tremendously:smile:

Wow, what amazing work Joy! They're not all separate motifs joined together, are they?? I'm impressed!

How wide and long will the finished scarf be?

Impressive - in a brilliant sort of way! How do you join them together? Am really looking forward to seeing the finished scarf.

Hi All,
Firstly they are all separate motifs joined together as I go for each length..12 large motif to a length with 2 small in-between.......The finished scarf may be about 1 yard long...not sure regarding the width until I see what it looks like after finishing the 8th length.....They are joined together with more tatting up and down each length and around the bottom and top.

It is a Japanese pattern.

Hugs and thanks for the nice remarks

Every single lovely thing that you drool over was made be someone who was once exactly where you are today. Never give up.

Hi Lynn,
I agree anyone can do this but so can all the tatters out there..it is not by any means a hard pattern....just takes patience as with everything....
Thanks all for the nice comments they are appreciated
