Marking picots

I am not sure where this suggestion should go. I quilt as well as tat. I had a pattern that was giving me trouble as to where to join what picot to where. So I took an air disappearing marker from my quilting supplies and marked the picot I needed to join. In a while the mark will vanish. There are also markers that disappear with cold water. I am not sure that this will help anyone, but, I wanted to pass it along. Mary Frankle of North Carolina.

Nice idea, thanks for sharing... I some times use a paper clip to mark a joining picot, but like your idea....
