Hi all...
sorry to ask silly question again...
I'm about to buy this book called tatting innovations by Helma Siepmann. It is said that this book mostly contain table runner, doilies, edings. I'm not that kinda tatters. Is it still worth to buy?Has anyone used this book?

What's the first book, Bev? - I have Tatting Innovations, but that's the only one I've seen.

Lacis Publications have put out 2 English Translations of Helma Siepmann's books, originally published in German.

Tatting Innovations, which is the English language edition of Kreatives Occhi

I have this book and I bought it to make trim for baby dresses. I have seen some Palmetto tatter members tat in this style and it makes a beautiful chain of flowers similar to the kind of embroidered trim by the yard that is used in dressmaking. Then again I never use tatting for doilies (just one more thing to pick up before dusting.) Connie Angeline
