Hi all  This is my first shot at writing a tatting pattern, so I would love to hear if there is something that I could do differently or better! I checked and doublechecked the stitch counts but if anything is wrong please let me know. Your tension should be fairly tight; this will help the bracelet to keep its shape without a lot of extra stiffening or starch.

ETA: Pattern updated 1/3/12 with stitch counts on the picture. Thank you Judy for the suggestions!
Cheers!

I want to make one in black for my niece! Hope I have time before Christmas! I still have other stuff to do, first. Yikes! Is it December already?!?

I feel the same way, I'm only half way through the knitted shawl that I have planned for a present and not even a quarter of the way into the tatted coasters... eep!
I made a couple of these for my nieces last week and depending on your niece's age, you might want to knock off a couple of the repeats on the outer edges. As written it was too big for the 5yo (but luckily it can be clasped through the tatting just as well as the regular chain and she didn't mind). :)
Thank you for the lovely comments, everyone.

I started to tat this simple but georgous bracelet with a yellow to white varigating color thread. It's like meditation. I love it. thanks too much :) If I can tat it neatly, I'll take a photo of it and share it here...

I tried this lovely pattern. Most of the work is done in buss (while I was on my business trip).
First bracelet - blue one has a glitch - I made poor judgement in choosing bead (to long).
On the second bracelet I made slight change (sorry Winterheart I have to ask this way since I'm having trouble with sending PMs or posts these days - is it ok) - the blue & white bracelet.

This is quite a lovely bracelet, especially with beads :)
Kvarta, did you have a question? Its perfectly OK to change patterns as you make things.
