I have over 1,000 patterns that I have gotten off the internet. If I know what you are looking for and how it looks, I may be able to help. Some of the patterns are from sites that are no longer working. I have been finding patterns for over a year and I still am looking for new ones.

That is a lot of patterns. Hope you have a hard copy somewhere.... I print some off and others a file then put a CD.
That way if the site I got them from goes away. I still have the pattern. There are some really good free ones on the WEB

I have most of them on CD's and have a few books on the side. Have only 6 Cd's so far.

I realize that this thread has been... inactive for a while, but... WOW! Over 1,000 --and that was a year ago! I can't even imagine! I think I've found about that many inactive links while looking, but I don't think I even have twenty active ones saved! Are you still willing to share some? When I started tatting, I got three books and I've loaned them all to my mom at this point (I'm still learning needle tatting, yet I'm teaching my mom at the same time. LOL... I've also recently started attempting shuttle tatting --I'm failing, but I'm determined to get it right. LOL).
Anywho, I'm just wondering if you still have such an extensive collection and if you're still willing to share a few... Thank you!!!

Oops: I realized that I did it again... When I said the inactive thing, I was looking at the "Join Date" instead of the actual date of the posts... Oops... LOL. Have I mentioned that I'm ditzy? LOL.

Just be carefull with CD's. After a while, about 4 years, the stored CDs didn't work anymore. Then I read that CD and DVD last only about 4 years before getting damaged, also if not used. An alternative is a external Harddisk, which should work as an average of about 10 years, maybe today there are other methods and newer models of it with better lifetime.
Good luck. I am now proud owner of about 4 different HD, one for pics, one for documents, one for my movies, and one for backup of the system.

I would be really interested in any patterns for collars - if you have any please...
Swissgirl, I think I've found a way around the storage issues. Anything I really want to save, I make a copy and save it in Google documents. I also print it and store in a clear file. So, I have two possible backups to my hard disk. I figure they're not all gonna go wonky on me at once.

I am sooooo unadventurous when it comes to Tech. Lynn, how complicated is it to save to Google documents? Does Google fine print say they own anything of yours that is save to this? What other tips do you have? Thank you.
