I just finished making 118 quarts of these. My family loves them and they are crisp and easy. In each jar add: 1/4 tsp. dill seed, 1/4 tsp dill weed, 1 clove garlic Brine: 8 1/2 cups water, 2 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1/2 cup pickling salt. Boil brine and set aside to cool. Fill jars with cucumbers then add brine. Seal and put in hot water bath for 10 minutes. (I don't always let the brine cool as once I get going, I just want it done).

They are very easy. No ice/cold water baths, no pickle crisp. Just wash, cut, and can. Gotta love it. If it ain't easy, it ain't for Holly! LOL
