I liked the pattern of the doily so much I decided to try incorporate it into a necklace. This is my third attempt and I think I am getting there.
Well I decided to ween myself off TotsuMe's wonderful instructions for needle tatting. She really guides you through things step by small step and breaks it down so it's easy. But my inspiration for tatting is my Dad. He used to talk with such fondness of the things his female ralatives back in Scotland used to tatt that I have always wanted to learn.
