Some tatters prefer to sew the tatting on after as the lace usually lasts longer than the hanky and can be taken off and put on another one. I have to admit that I have never had a hanky long enough to fall apart! LOL
Very nice! Edgings can be tedious, but hey, if we wanted an easy craft, we'd be doing... um... giant crochet. Yeah... giant crochet.....
I like Jeannie Lugert’s rosary pattern, available on her blog. I’ve done two of those; one with pearls and one with semi precious stones for the decades. I looked at the Heirloom treasures pattern but it was too fussy for what I wanted. I bought a sterling crucifix for one of them; and, a tatted cross (in metallic thread) for the other. bev PS you can see my simple rosaries in my album.

I might have done that a time or two.... It usually happens when I finish a large piece & am planning on starting another. I think it's burn out - after a few weeks I pick back up & tat like crazy for a month or so, then it's back to winding shuttles & nothing.... :)

Congratulations...! Gorgeous baby....I wouldn't get anything done if I had just had one of those...to old, so I have no excuses...! You still have a lot of time in this year yet to get something done. Would love to see the quilt.

We are lucky in our little Kat..she's such a calm baby. Thank you everyone for your kind words.
She is just beautiful, Congrads. Thank you for sharing her photo with us
Ahh. look at that cutie...:)
Look at all that hair! She is a charmer for sure. Congratulations on surviving labor and bringing a sweetling into the world. May she be blessed, happy, and lucky all her days.

Good Luck!!! I wish now that my daughter hadn't been so cooperative & showed us she was a little girl at just the right time - I didn't want to know! All we needed the first few weeks were onesies, diapers, recieving blankets (which are now blankies like Lynus), & socks. All of those things we already had in blues & greens & yellows (mostly greens & yellows) so they'd be for girls & boys. To this day her bedroom is green & it works perfectly :) I'm sending you prayers & good thoughts!
Best of luck to you. Having a c-section has some advantages. I had to have both of mine that way. You have some say on when your baby is born. You will do just fine. Take care!
Wow, next Monday!!! Well, what better Christmas gift could you want? Just think then you & baby will both be looking at your toes together & your little man will be wondering what mommy is doing then. LOL! Get that stuff that you need for the big arrival & you will be able to enjoy the holiday all together. That's PRICELESS! Knowing the sex isn't important..knowing that he or she is healthy is all that matters. For the baby already knows he or she is very loved! Merry Christmas to you & your family! Blessings, Little Bell
Honestly what you need the most is diapers, little bunting blankets, and some of those newborn shirts (I got three from the hospital!) Oh, and the car seat. Good luck and God bless.
