Ok my church is having an art / craft show the first week in october and Creation is the theam. . I am at a loss on what to make . This is my first time doing anything like this . I have a hard time showing off any of my work to people . last year i had to make a choice on going to the church for the show or to my neices birthday party . B-day party it was , and this year is the same , her party is the same day agin , thank god that the show its not till 6 pm , but i still have no idea what to make ...

I was up all night.this respiratory infection is wearing me out. Since I was up anyway, I decided to buckle down and finish the black necklace. the split ring chain was 17 inches, so I only made one flower. it has a clear cracked glass bead for the center, and the second round has shiny black gunmetal 4mmcubes to hide the area where the second row was added on to the picots of yhe first row.. I haven't taken the picture yet. but will add it sometime today.. take care and keep tatting ...
I finished a snowflake. hope you like it. I gave up on the flower design from the" tatting from burda" book, and decided to design my own flower center piece. I''ll take a picture when I'm finished.. Takt care and keep tatting.

Hello again from East Liverpool. Ohio. I haven't had much of a chance to work on my tatting, new medicine makes me very sleepy. I am a persistant tatter, I finished the black split ring chain, Iran out of working thread, just as I finished the last stitch. It has been my experience, that with tatting, if you think something is difficult,it will be. So I am resigned to thinking that this particular pattern is do-able. Been busy , I got sidetracked,on the snowflakes, and am making a black split ring necklace with a a tatted focal I will write more k from one of my favorite books,"Tatting from burda" It's been translated from German by Etha Schuette. It's put out by Lacis Publications. The pictures are amazing, but although I feel that some instructions were lost in translation.the diagrams seem accurate. My sister, emailed me and asked for some tatted snowflakes for her Christmas tree. The word got around the nursing home that I was tatting snowflakes, so now all the nurses want snowflakes. As you can see by my picture(in my profile), That tube coming from my neck attaches me to a vent. If the electricity shuts off, I stop breathing for a few seconds before the emergency generator kicks on. The nurses here at the Nursing home are great!!!
