So I finally found how to blog here. I haven't been online much for a few days. I have been tatting though. I finished a split ring Heart from Georgia Seitz, the Amusement doilyBoth in Lizbeth 20 Carousel), another bookmark or 2 or 4 (sold eight of them at our garage sale Saturday), gave up on the doily with the thread spaces (I never did get it to look right). Bought 5 new pattern books from ebay, and got the first 4 rounds of the Blue Ribbon Doily found in the Annie's Attic book Heirloom Treasures in Tatting designed by Florence Anthony done(DMC cordonnet 20). I am making it for my mom for Mother's Day. I also started on another long row of split rings for a project I have in mind. so busy busy busy. Also my brother is not doing good. The cancer had spread and they have taken him off every thing but pain meds. He is scared because this means that the treatments were not working and he is dying so they are now just trying to keep him comfortable. His birthday is this Saturday and he will be 48.
