I have my 2 year old pushing on my legs and tugging my arms while the little cake in the oven is squirming and doing it's own pushing and tugging. Why are they both so hyper at the same time?

I have six days to complete and prepare my entries for the fair. I ran out of white size 30, so I have to wait until Monday to do one entire doily and finish off a fan. The only thing I can work on are my old fashion playing cards, and these wouldn't take more than 2 hours from start to finish. Not to mention I have tons of ends to hide and items that need starching. I feel like I'm wasting tatting time.

I was visiting another forum, this one run by the Shuttle Shop designers and found something wonderful to distract me for a bit. They are making epoxy shuttles that you can put your own tatting into! So after contacting them and getting the necessary info to begin crafting my own shuttles, I went on a search for something small yet worthy of immortalizing in plastic. Okay I'm being a little bit overly dramatic here. But I am trying to find something quickly because I want to recieve the first pair by my birthday next month.

Funny how one little thing can get you excited and that excitement carries over to other things. I now have plenty of motivation to get that tatting done. What I'm lacking is the necessary supplies. I do have to brush up tatting with very fine thread, I'm talking about sewing thread size, er 100..
