I went to my first Golden Gate Lacers meeting and met PattyD and 4 others ladies at Jan's Art Studio in Fremont, CA. It was a sunny afternoon spent with a group of very friend and helpful ladies. Patty gave us the tatting class, took us through how to wind a shuttle properly, showing us the mystery of magic thread, how to do reverse work, and finally cleared my suspicion about whether I am doing SLT all along and not knowing that is what it is all about.

The meeting was from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm and the time sure flies, we ate and tatted and ate some more and tatted some more then it was time to leave. I am looking forward to the next meeting in November.
