This morning at 6:45 am my BF woke me up to get ready to go to Monterey Bay Aquarium. You see, Monterey is about 100 miles away and they open at 9:30 am, he wants to make sure we are there when they open those doors.

We stayed there till 12:30 after viewing all the tanks, they have several exhibit on seahorses, flamingo, and turtles. Does anyone know there are totally white and totally shocking orange flamingo not just the pink and white one we usually see? I really like the shocking orange one.

We also went to Gilroy outlets on the way back to go to this kitchen store for some hot sauces. Except, we found that the store closed due to bad economy. boohoo.

I tried to tat on the way home, except I kept on nodding off, that I had to just stop and put it away so I don't make mistake and get upset.

    I would just love to see those flamingos...! No, I didn't know they came in all those colors either. Interesting. I'm going to look them....

    I went to MBAQ website and read that the bird's color are only as pink as the food they eat and that the shocking orange ones are really wading birds called scarlet ibis. They are in the exibit with the flamingos because they are all wading birds. The color on these birds are just beautiful. Here is a picture of them.

    Where is the picture? It says attachment, but I can't find one....
