What I've been up to... I haven't posted since December!

Well, I've been tatting, it's just been slow work. I finally got the center piece of the Clover Doily, & since then I'm still working. I've made a bookmark for my father in between; I put some pictures in my album. I've also been working on the edging from A Tatter's Workbook (the one done in Lizbeth Jellybean in my album from before).
In a tatting un-related way, I've been working out! wwooo am I sore! Tae Bo is hard on someone as out of shape as I've gotten since I had my little girl!
I've been tatting in the evenings & while my daughter is napping & pretty much every chance I get until my hands are as sore as the rest of me. I'm taking a break the next few days from working out AND tatting. I think I may have a touch of either arthritis or carpal tunnel (man I hope I spelled that right!) Both are pretty common in my family. :( Could also be too many smashed/twisted/broken fingers from all the horse-play :) I will start back, because I have 60 pounds of what I'm going to call baby weight almost 2 years later that I want to get rid of!
As soon as I finish the last round of my current project, I'm going to venture into the world of celtic tatting I believe. I tried a snowflake once but it didn't turn out very well so I trashed it & forgot about it. I"m also going to finally learn split rings. I admit to being a little stubborn on this subject, but I've come to the conclusion that I MUST do Jane Eborall's little horse pattern... as well as some of the celtic patterns in the book I have. No way around it then I suppose :)
Every bit of knowledge opens another door though, right?

Good for you on the working out. I need to follow your example.

:) Thank you Lynn! If you can I would suggest Tae Bo... the cheesy looking DVDs... I like doing things at home so people can't see me lol It's fun, believe it or not. And it works every muscle in your entire body I promise. I have to do something, I'm 60+ pounds over what I should be & when you're 4ft10in tall that's ALOT!
