That seems to be the way it is here also. I have been working on a doily for my son and it is done in individual rows. Got 3 rows completed and accidentally cut it so I thought I would start over and see if I could get it smoother. Was working on the 4th row and left the other in a plastic bag on the couch while I went to church. We raise Lacy Game dogs www.bluelacykennels.com. Left my male in the house as Hugh (our son) was still here. He apparently got it out of the bag and went to the dog bed then realized it was probably not something he should have done. (Normally he would have eaten/destroyed it) He went to his room and laid down. When Hugh came out he saw it and picked it up. He called Skip and he finally came around the corner with head and tail tucked. Hugh could not tell if it was hurt so he laid it on the table for me. I discovered he had broken one of the rings on the 2nd row. I was really upset but could not blame him as I left it there and I had to appreciate that he realized to drop it and I don't think he meant to cut the thread that was cut. So I am now trying to get back to where I was.
