It's less than 10 days to go. I managed to find a moving company, they turned up yesterday so the last couple of weeks has been the stress of packing. Not quite so easy when you're packing a partial house instead of a complete one - you have to ask the question of whether or not you own the item before you pack it!

Last weekend was going to be my big packing weekend, then we received some very sad news that a friend of C's friends had passed away. I had only met him a few times, but it was so sad - he was intelligent and kind and only 34. So, last weekend instead of packing we C and friend M flew in and we hired a car to drive out to Donegal for the funeral. I've heard from a few sources that there was over 3000 at the wake and there were about 300 at the funeral itself. Afterwards we drove back to Dublin so that the boys could get their flight home. A stressful and sad weekend but I wouldn't have not done that.

Meanwhile, my flatmate has decided that she's not staying afterall which means that when another friend takes over my part of the lease he'll need to sign up to take on the lot or he has to find something else. Even her own sister looked at her and asked why on earth she couldn't stay another month so that he could find someone. I guess some people just don't think beyond their own world. So I'm looking for a flatmate for someone else now :)

Yesterday the packing had to be finished - the movers arrived. On top of that work is not really letting up, they want me to finish projects while still doing my day job and handing over. No room to breathe there! And then there's the freelance work that I need to get finished before I go.

No wonder my hair is falling out in clumps!
