Default On the Tenth day of Christmas . . .

Today is the tenth day of Christmas, January 3, 2010.

A few questions for you: Do you have a blog? Do you have a website? Do you have an on-line store?

If you do blog, why do you blog? What interests you about blogging? What is your blog site?

If you do not blog, do you follow any blogs? Which ones do you follow? Why do you follow them?

What about a site? What is your site URL or TLD? Or please tell, which is your favorite site? What is on this site? Basics, techniques, patterns? What else?

On-line stores: Do you own one, or do you have a favorite store? What does it sell? Why do you prefer it?

No, I don't have a blog, on line store but I do check out a few of our friend's blogs to see what I can learn from them as well to see what they have been making lately. Also they give me good leads for good books that I don't have yet. Which I'm always learning things about tatting. Just like I do from this site & all of our friends on here. Which for that it's priceless & I thankyou, each & everyone one of you for politely corupting me this way!
Blessings to all of you & I hope that 2010 is better for all of us.

I have no e-store of my own, but here is where I usually shop.

Hmmmm, are you asking about tatting blogs or blogs in general? Needle Art websites or websites in general? I have a blog without any recent posts, but it does not connect with tatting or needle art. The blogs I follow are written by friends -- though all my tatting friends are here on-line and I've not yet explored their blogs. I do enjoy Face Book and find that it is a wonderful instrument to help me feel connected with folk.

Yes, I have a Blog, which can be found here. It is mainly devoted to Cardmaking, but I do post some of my tatting on there. I used to have my own store, but now I sell my work from here. These are all Card Designs that I have done, no tatting. I am a Graphic Artist and Card Designer and I do my tatting to relax. ;-) Most of the blogs I follow are Cardmaking Blogs, although I do have a few Tatting Blogs I check on now and then.

A few questions for you: Do you have a blog? Do you have a website? Do you have an on-line store?

I do have a blog: Tat's All She Wrote but the website I do have has not been updated for about a century and dosn't have much tatting on it. I don't sell things, so I don't have a store. I just buy things from other people's stores.

If you do blog, why do you blog? What interests you about blogging? What is your blog site?

Blogging is something I started when I was doing the 25 motif challenge. It gave me a place to put my motifs to stand up and be counted. After that, I just kept going. I like sharing what I make with other tatters. I like comments about my work, ways to improve it, and where to find other similar pieces for compaison. As I said, my blog is Tat's All She Wrote

If you do not blog, do you follow any blogs? Which ones do you follow? Why do you follow them?

I follow so many! It would take forever to name them all, but I follow them for the same reasons I keep making my blog. I like seeing what other tatters are doing and finding tips which improve my own work.

What about a site? What is your site URL or TLD? Or please tell, which is your favorite site? What is on this site? Basics, techniques, patterns? What else?

My favorite site is Jane Eborall's webpage. She's got patterns, techniques, and tips with really good drawings and information.

On-line stores: Do you own one, or do you have a favorite store? What does it sell? Why do you prefer it?[/QUOTE]

My favorite stores are those that sell hand-dyed threads (Yarnplayer and LadyShuttlemaker, for example), I also really like Handy Hands and Lacis for shuttles and implements and other threads and pattern books
