    Tat2 beading question

i've tried the linda davies method of adding beads. while i do like not having to string the beads ahead of time, i haven't figured out how to make the bead dangle with this method. it seems that it has to be tight as you are pulling through the shuttle thread.

i'll keep playing with it though.

Not sure what you mean by dangle, but you can dangle a bead covered picot by pulling up several (pull 'em up and audition the effect) beads into a picot. Sounds like Linda Davies method is a "forethought" method: you string beads before you start, and you can string them on a ball or on the shuttle (a bit fiddly). There are also "afterthought" methods of adding beads such as: 1) by pulling a picot through the bead and joining to this picot, or 2) by puttng a bead in the middle of a ring by tatting half the ring and pulling a loop of ball thread through the bead and then running the shuttle through this loop before finishing the ring - a bit fiddly to close and adjust the position of the bead.

Here's my idea about a dangling beaded picot. Pull up a LOOOONG picot, add the bead and then join to the picot
