Default New Thought on Joining the Last Ring to the First Ring

While making samples of variegated threads I made Lark's Head Picot Joins to preserve the flow of the colors and prevent speckles in the joins. What I discovered is the the Lark's Head Picot Joins are the easiest joins I have ever made when joining the dreaded last ring to the first ring.

I, also, found them hard to understand. Perhaps I need to start early on a Saturday morning, concentrate, and work throughout the day until I do understand.
I admit I am not as sharp as I used to be.

oh my I didn't understand it either but sure wish I did! it's times like this when i wish there was another tatter nearby to SHOW me how to do things like this......I really have a hard time reading and doing, since I am a "hands on" learner. oh well, I realize I am all on my own out here in tat land. that's why I love this site so much, even if I can't read and follow directions :)

Maybe a background in macrame would help. I can do this, but I can't explain it any clearer than these instructions do. Patty, do you have a camera? I don't have one, or I'd post a video. I checked youtube, but didn't find anything there.

Well, since I have incorporated the Lark's Head Picot Join wholeheartedly into my repertoire of tatting skills, I'll see what I can do about a visual. My computer is now a brick and I have to steal time on my hubby's until it gets fixed but I am following up on this, may take a few days.

    Liyarra,

No you don't have to fold the ring since the Lark's Head Picot Join is ALL on the front side.

It would be nice if someone could do a video for us! I also have a hard time following instructions that are written.
