I have only taken up tatting recently, and have not been much taken with tatted jewellery. But these little owls are just great - they're so sweet. Thank you so much.

Those are adorable, I love them!
Unbelievably cute!!!
We can learn from our dogs: wag more, bark less.
One of these owls was the first thing i ever tatted. It was very easy and the finished product was addorable!
Isn't it great when it turns out just like you wanted. I mostly have trouble with second earrings... I can never get them to look like a pair without doing at least 4 or 5 to find two that look pretty much alike... so then there are these "orphans"..
I found a picture of them somewhere on net and made a pair for myself, full of mistakes for now I'm afraid but I'm still practicing. Ty for sharing (until now I was counting knots and picots from picture). I'll give it a try by reading a pattern. I'd love to make a pair as gift to my friend (she love owls and has one as a pet).
Kvarta, here is a link to a video on youtube that might help....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQyBBx9bC7k
Thanks to all who have made such nice comments about this pattern. I am so pleased!

Thank you so much. Since I'm mostly visual type this helps :D
How cute!!
I ran into a little snag, as I'm a needle tatter, I found it hard to do on a needle. but otherwise brilliant pattern :) it's great for the newbies *ahem* me to work on picot length :P
