I love the way this is similar to your Wandering Daisies and yet the construction is totally different. Beautiful tatting on both pieces!

I have tried twice to make this bookmark and can not make the turn. Is there any advice you can give me? I know I'm missing something but for the life of me I can't see what I'm doing wrong.
Joanlab, I am not sure I understand what is getting in your way. But, you work down one side chain-ring-chain-ring-chain-ring-ring and repeat. When you get to the end, in order to go all the way around you do chain-ring 6 times then do ring-ring again.
I hope this is helpful. I've looked at your album and you have done some complicated things. Some beautiful tatting. I think it is just a glitch that this one is not going smoothly for you.

Count twice, tat once (hopefully).
I don't know what my problem is either. I even looked at the #38 post up close. It appears when I make the bend I don't join the rings correctly. Maybe if instead of going by the pattern I do as you suggers and make chain-rings six times I will conquor it. Thanks for your help. I'll try again (#4) tomorrow. Looking at the pattern now I think thanks to you I might (key word might) know what I was missreading. The instructions say to make the ring & chain twice more...I was making 2 rings and two chains but perhaps it meant the entire sequence twice more. I may have to stay up & try once more. Thanks sooooooo much! Oh...and wish me luck.
Luck!
I often refer to diagrams or pictures. Somehow, the instructions just don't mean much to me without being able to see the final product.
I am sure you can get this one. Hang in there.

I will be tatting this one for my lace guild the Atlanta Chapter of IOLI. We are taking bookmarks to the library where we meet for their literacy drive this summer.
