Yay!!! The day came and went and was beautiful, so I wanted to share a few pictures with you all! Mostly of how the things I tatted turned out for her wedding.

Very pretty tatting and beautiful bride. Thank you for showing us the photos.
How beautiful - tatting and pictures
You did a wonderful job. Your friend must be thrilled with your efforts.
You learned to tat so that you could make these things for your friend's wedding, but now tatting has you firmly in its grip.So what do you plan to do next?

Too much :). I'm making ornaments for my family and some bookmarks and just some random motifs
Little things become big things as time goes on. I was tickled to see that you used Hens and Chicks on your friend's hair ornament, that pattern is over 100 years old. I saw a note that had been stored with samples of tatting that went on and on about how Hens and Chicks was all the rage and the newest thing in tatting, dated 1894. And since you tatting was done in blue your part was "something borrowed, something blue".
Well done! Keep on tatting!
Very nice! Is that you in the red dress?
It is me in the red dress.
It's awesome to hear that the hens and chicks pattern is so old. I used it out of the book that I learned how to tat from, and I don't remember it having a name to it..
thanks for sharing these pictures with us! what a very nice way to commemorate a friend's wedding, and a very nice validation for being able to accomplish this!!
