Dear Frivole, many thanks for generously sharing! I had been hunting round for a leaf motif for my next project, couldn't find any suitable, and decided to do an all flower motif mat in two colours instead. I got to the 2nd row and then found your pattern in this forum! Oh well, for my next project then!

It is a lovely leaf! Now to get my hands on a leafy appropriate thread.

I found some leafy colors in the Lizbeth @ Hobby Lobby (available online @ hhtatting.com), size 20, a few years ago for patterns from Tatting Turns Over a New Leaf, by Karey Solomon.

That's looking very nice Elsiel... you could even add some leaves on the outside of your mat if you wished and it would look lovely I think: a pair here and a single leaf there for example?

And Bluedode is right, "Leafy Greens" by Lizbeth is one of my favourites and I just got "Jungle Greens" which I haven't tried yet.
