Default Tooth for tooth fairy pillow

This one might just be useful for tooth fairy pillows etc. It was a test so I just knotted at the start and end...that explains the whiskers.

leave both tails about 4 inches long at the start.
Start at the top right and work around clockwise.
CH1: 12 (very long downward facing picot) 15 Shoe lace trick, Reverse work, Switch Shuttles
CH2: 6 +(to the very long picot) 5 make very long picot 6 Shoe lace trick, Reverse work, Switch Shuttles
CH3: 15 +(to the very long picot) 12 Shoe lace trick, Reverse work
    R1: 10 very small picot 8
pull one tail end thru the picot in the last ring to complete the formation. Weave the ends in.

Our children had a little pillow (about the size of a sheet of paper) with a pocket on the side. Boys was denim, girls pink and white check with lace around the edges. The pocket was only about a 2" square into which you dropped the tooth. And it was large enough when the fairy removed the tooth to insert the reward. I can see the tooth attached to the pocket on a solid color fabric!!

There were some letters on the side opposite the pocket (like my tooth fairy pillow) but right now I can't remember what it said.

Very cute! I have a couple of grandchildren that haven't started loosing teeth yet, so I guess I have time to make a couple of pillows!

I love this pattern. My six year old son hasn't started loosing any of his teeth yet so I can make a tooth pillow for him in time. Thank you :)

Sule, I can't believe your baby is six!! I remember so well your post on the old etatters saying that you had bought some "pretty blue thread" to make something for the-as-yet-unborn baby!

Wow! Maureen, I'm really impressed with your memory. I had no idea anyone would remember anything that I wrote. I'll be smiling forever now :)

We never did the tooth fairy thing. My dad actually just pull the tooth for me when I complain too much of how it's moving and then it would disappear. I don't have kids and I am not sure if my brothers are going to do the tooth fairy thing for their kids. I guess I could ask.....
