Thread: 3d rose pattern

    Default 3d rose pattern

Well I went online to look for Jeanne Lugert's 3-D Rose pattern and came across a link for '3D Rose for Bouquet' with a lovely photo of the rose but no information as to the author of this pattern or any further links.
This looks to be a really beautiful rose and I wondered if anyone else has come across this link and has any further information about where or if this pattern is available or for sale. I'm sure I am not the only one to find this link and be puzzled by the creator of such a delightful work. Your help is appreciated.......thanks

Are you talking about this rose pattern here - http://members.fortunecity.com/tatma...dy/3Drose.html T

This is really very pretty and even I would love to have pattern for it to make it myself.

You can find two different versions of the small roses here, Susan:

I love Lindas's designs, but they are much more elaborate - Jeanne's ones are really cute and very, very simple!

There are also a couple of simple 3D roses in the Palmetto Tatters site, under favorite patterns. One is by Marie Smith and the other by Sharren Morgan.

Thanks everyone for your help! I have now printed out Jeanne's rose pattern and have looked at the other patterns. I have Linda Davies' books of flower patterns and have made quite a few flowers, but this photo really captured my imagination and as commented on by 'prabhjyotsaini' is a pattern I would love to do if I could only find out who the designer is and whether this is available. I have re-pasted the link in case anyone has any ideas and think that perhaps there are more than two of us would love this pattern.

Just a thought. From the URL I would guess Mark Myers, Tatman, has something to do with it. I do remember him making roses for a neice's wedding. So I would suggest contacting him and see if he has a pattern for the rose. You could also look on his web site and see if the pattern is there.

Just done that, no luck. He did say in the website that one day the pattern will be in a book of flowers and lots of flowers. Hope that would be soon.

That rose pattern is beautiful, and like you I wished I had the pattern for it, well we will just have to wait for the book, it is amazing and gorgeous, they way it looks like a real rose. either you have a play and see if you can come up with something near to it or wait.
Thank you for finding the picture and sharing it
