Tat October Tatting Challenge - Tangled Threads

October's Tatting Challenge is inspired by Imoshen.

Use that thread you have that's been lurking at the back of your stash box, you know, the one that you're not comfortable using cos it's an odd size or perhaps it's a strange fibre or even a colour that just isn't your favourite.

Tat something with that thread and post it here for all to see. Tell us what the thread is, why you avoided it for so long and will you use it again?

Added bonus points go to anyone who tats something from the tatting library that doesn't yet have a picture there and then lets me use their picture!

This is cruel. I think I might pretend to be busy all October rather than use that ghastly thread. :-)

OK, this is fun - sort of. LOL!!

I have this ball of thread I picked up on a whim, because I like the color & feel of it. I had already tried it once, it knotted, so I stuck it in a drawer not liking it much.

I decided to give it a try again for this challenge. Now, I've had to start this project over 3 times! Definitely cursed thread!!

We'll see how try #4 goes! My new motto: "Never let the thread win!"

I've got a whole BOX full -- I bought it on-line on sale. No wonder it was on sale. It's so soft it's like tatting with mush. I'll try it again, though. One more time -- then I'm going to crochet with it. Dishrags I think -- that'll show it.
