    Hi Rachel,

I think I will vote for either a bookmark, or motif, or even a pendant something smallist and not too big due to postage rates are high in the UK. I also vote that its just the item you have tatted and not a pile of presents i.e thread and bits, its not fair when one member sends a large parcel of threads and beads etc and another member cant afford to send things. I myself are unemployed so money is not flowing freely, but I dont want to be stopped joining in, because some members want to include a pile of things with their tatting.

My suggestion- a scissors (cell phone, purse, zipper pull) fob, or small pendant. It is a relatively small item that can easily be done by all skill levels, is lightweight (cutting down on shipping costs) and does not take much time.

I vote for bookmarks or hearts (I know hearts weren't listed, but I'd like that too.)

Anything small and light weight....I am all for it. I did not join last time since I was hard pressed for time as I was relocating. I would very much love to join this time.

I've never had the opportunity to participate in something like this before, so my suggestion might seem clueless due to my lack of information, but. . . Instead of doing something specific like hearts, pendants, or animals why not just say something small with specific dimensions. We could say tat whatever you want, just keep it under 3 square inches. And then ask everyone to post pics of what they sent/received when we're all done so we can all see the little masterpieces.
