In making the transition between the section of the feather with the 6 thrown off rings, what sort of join worked during/after the SR 8/8 that moves up to the 7th center small ring that is a SR 3+3/3+3? My lock join is ugly, but I didn't see how to get over the chain of the SCMR otherwise.
So sorry Leeanne and Susie, for some reason I hadn't seen there were new comments in this thread. How's yours coming along Leeanne?
Susie, I want to help but I can't picture where you mean! I don't think I used any SCMRs in making the tail... I did it all with split rings. So I made the centre SR8-8, then did another SR around it with the thrown rings so you end up back at the tip, ready to make the next split ring.
