    Default Help seeking flower pattern...

    I spotted this flower...

Top right hand corner on patterns link on left hand side of screen. It looks like an onion ring flower with ds's on top making it look 2-d. Light pink and dark pink colouring.

And imediately fell in love with it! I cannot seem to find on anywhere?

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

    TIA!!!

Am not hooked on tatting...my hands are sticky from chocolate and shuttles are stuck!

That's a pattern from one of the really old books - I have a feeling it was discussed during the online classes Georgia runs. I can't remember what it is called , but I remember that it generated a lot of interest when it was first unearthed. I'll have a poke around and see if I can find it.

Thank you very much! *fingers crossed*

needledreams (Wally Sosa) cleaned up the pattern, but it does not appear to be on this site. Intatters used to be eTatters on ning but that site is closed now. I have the feeling that it didn't make the transition. I worked it myself and it is actually a sort of curved block tatting in chain segments around the central ring. I will go take a peek at Georgia's site and see if I can find it.

I got as far as remembering that it was Wally who found the pattern ,and it's one that I had saved on the computer which blew up - I never did recover any of those. I hope you can find it, Patty, because I had forgotten all about it, and I would like to have it again! I have tried to unearth it, but without actually knowing what it's called, it hasn't been a successful search.

    Someone will know, kittytat!

Well, since I have my finished piece, I will count the stitches and reconstruct the pattern, might take a bit.

I am quite sure I saw a gorgeous version in some other site recently (say, during the last year or so). Maybe even at intatters. But, I do not remember the name of the pattern to do a search... Maybe check Gina's (Tatting Goddess's) blog...

I know I have the pattern somewhere really, really safe! In the meantime, I was able to find this link by searching Gina Brummett's blog... http://littlegreybungalow.blogspot.c...aisy-from.html

    Good luck!

    Thanks for the links everyone!

Karen, I particularly love the precision in the work shown in the last link you shared. Just stunning!
