Oh, I hadn't thought of that. Is it ok to save patterns that are for public use if I keep the original link attached?

Speaking of pinterest, does anyone else have trouble getting all the pics to load? I can usually only see about 60-70% and even they take forever to load. I have DSL.

A photo of the finished item with a link to the original pattern would be the best way to go.

I understand your concern now. I should have said I was planning on pinning the pic of the finished item instead of saying I was planning on pinning the pattern. I'm sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the info though. It will make me more careful in making sure I give credit to the designer whether it's the pattern or a pic of the finished piece.

Some patterns won't load, due to copyright. Many of my favorite patters/pictures were copywrited and would load.

I thought Pinterest was just a board to keep track of the various websites where patterns (or other interests) are located, similar to a bookmark (in Firefox)/Favorites (in Internet Explorer). Most of the boards I've been on show the item from the original designer's website, not the item the account holder made.

Since the link goes back to the original designer's website where the pattern is located, I don't think there's a copyright issue.
