Default Peacock with full spread from the Occhi book

I have posted my peacock from the Occhi book. I had entered him in the contest at shuttlebirds this year and won in the wild animal category. Technically he isn't a wild animal, but I bet if you tried to pull a tail feather out - he would get wild.

I purchased some hand dyed thread from Karey Soloman and I am looking forward to doing the peacock on the front cover with that thread. It is much brighter and not so dark as the lizbeth thread. I used #663 Turquose and #117 Countryside for this one.

Wonderful! And a well-deserved prize winner. It's nice to see him done up. I went the other way around to you and made the one on the cover first and plan to make him next!
