OOOO I have some "blending braid" that's normally used for embroidery that would tat up in that pattern so nicely; all earth and water colors, but metallic. Darn you for inspiring me when I have not time to experiment *laugh*

thank you. it was actually really fun to tat. i did the star then i pinned it to a box. then i started tatting the outer chain. i got two points done before i figured it would be a nicer circle if i pinned the circle (like a guide) and tatted around. it was very awkward but i can see a realm of possibilities with this technique. especially using stiffners and glues...
