The entire site was very interesting. Oh that gold shuttle is just fabulous! I never thought to watch for antique shuttles down here in Florida, I could picture hanging them up as ornaments on the christmas tree! Sigh, makes me wish tatting needles could be that pretty and interesting...

Is the person a Tatter or just a collector. I have seen a few collections of people who do not Tatter just love the shuttles so they collect them. Often money is not a problem. Sad but true. I have a nive collection but some are not very pricy or rare. I tat with all but two, those shave thread on them from the first owners and are in little shell holders.
