Books are great fun to dive into, u don't have to make everything from it, it can be just as inspiring as trawling thru the net and finding someone else's pattern to drool over!

    Irenho:

You got lots of value for your money:
I enjoy Teri Dusenbury's patterns: the hearts book is a favorite of mine, so is the butterfly book ("tadbits")
"Rozella Linden" is the "nom de plume" of Ruth Perry -- there's a pdf somewhere online of her "balanced double stitch" for tatting -- check it out. She has also authored some "celtic tatting" books.
The "anon" book is new to me.

Bead crochet is fun: I like making bead ropes. Prefer nylon crochet thread (doesn't rot, is very strong) and put in a clasp that can be broken: nylon crochet thread won't break and I don't want to get hung by my handiwork! I don't recall seeing these books before, but I have a couple in my collection.

It is your choice what you do with your money: this was a good choice. Enjoy!

The anon book is a collection of patterns that uses JP Coats threads, which is why I assume, its JP Coats patterns.

They're green edition books, well for the tatting ones, meaning its all black n white except for the cover pages. Also, I don't believe in paying more than $10 for books which only have black n white photos.
