    Thumbs up A wonderful day!

When we were at the resort last week we saw a review of a restaurant in Stillwater, MN not too far from hubby's uncle where we are now in Minneapolis. We had a family get together last night and talked about it. This morning his cousin came over and took us there for lunch(Yummy barbeque!)and right next to it was a yarn shop. After lunch they let me wander to my hearts content and hubby said I could have anything I wanted. Not that I would ever pay $42.50 for one skein of yarn although I did get some lovely yarn that is dreamy soft-2 balls purple 70% super kid mohair/30% silk Rowan Kidsilk Haze- some little snips that will be great for any thread or yarn craft(like TATTING maybe), some safety pins with no coil but a big loop(could also double as strivers) and a new pair of needles. Will have to post a pic later!

We are back at Uncle Bob's and just taking it easy the rest of today. Needless to say I am way more impressed with hubby's mom's family than I was with his dad's family the other day!

FYI the yarn shop is darn. knit. {anyway} and they have a website at www.darnknitanyway.com

Kidsilk Haze is so beautiful - you'll be able to knit a luxurious scarf out of two balls. Great purchase.

Rachael, I just shared the store and yarn info with my tatting students, who are both very experienced knitters! Thanks again, and enjoy your travels!
