I would not buy THAT shuttle but I have paid A LOT for a Dacid Reed-Smith shuttle. He used to post them as auctions and I have to admit I spent about 70 or 80 dollars. Still have it and love it deeply! sadly I had another I broke and dont think it can be repaired. Bummer

I've just bought my first lacossette shuttle and love it to bits, it cost about £13. Other than that I've only got the 5 pack of clovers. I've seen a lovely one by beadinmama on etsy for $33 but it wouldn't last long with me, its more a collectors piece. It's very pretty, called old monterey if anyone is interested.

Just went to have a look and those Beadinmama shuttles look really interesting, I love the look of some of them but I would only guess that they would be rather heavy. I already find the metal Boye shuttles too heavy to work comfortably with so if you then cover them in polymer clay... but great-looking!

Hi Everyone, I have spent a lot for a single shuttle :) I guess us collectors can go a little crazy sometimes ... Cant really explain it, but sometimes it is that one piece that you NEED to make your collection COMPLETE and you MUST get it. (As I said we might just be crazy).

I think I inherited it from my grandfather, he has quite a lot of collections, and I have to hear my grandma, aunt and mom preaching of how he spends some much money on "trash"; inside of me i think "I get it", of course I never tell them that :)

As per the shuttle on eBay, it is nice, but there is no collectors value that item.
