Cool. Looks nice. Have you done 16 other motifs or is 17th motif just the name of the pattern?

This is my 17th motif for the 25 motif challenge!! The motif or medallion as the pattern is called in number 1157, Old and new designs in tatting--book No 11.
If I make another one I think I would do the centre first, instead of last.

There's something about....either the contrast with crochet, or your tatting technique or this pattern, but all those outer rings look like DIAMONDS, not rings... its probably an optical illusion. I love it. I saw it when you first posted and then I looked closer and saw, no, they really are rings, but why do they look different?? I didn't post. Now I'm back, looking again, and my eyes still see little diamonds and my head says.. round, round, round.
