    Default Tatting tools

    Hello everyone!
I'm preparing a new reference-type post for my blog (www.entrelanzaderas.blogspot.com) about tools used in tatting. I want to include almost every possible tool of the trade and I would like to have some help - Especially in the section of needle tatting!!
I would like you tatters of the world to snap a picture of the tools YOU use and send it to me with your name (if you want it posted in my blog) at kcabrera74 at gmail dot com.
Not of everything you own, but of the things you take with you when tatting, let's say, on the go: a couple shuttles, a scissor, hooks, picot guides, so on and so forth. the tatting essentials.
    Thank you!

Hi! I've created an album here at intatters of some of my 'tools of the trade'. I carry mine in an eyeglass case. If it fits then it can go with me. Feel free to use any of those you like.

I made an entire post that disappeared.
I have pics of some of my tatting tools in my stash and goodies album that include the metal needlecase my grandma gave me with her needles, a home made picot gauge and a ball carrier that I made from the bottom of a coffee creamer bottle with a tatted handle(I also use it to hold my second shuttle) and my tatting box with needle and shuttle supplies in it. Feel free to use any you like.

My favorite "to go box" is a 5 x 4 x 1 inch zippered clear plastic bag. Holds current project finished part, needle, and ball of thread, and sometimes a threader, and hook on a lanyard with scissors. Projects requiring patterns, picot gauge, ball carrier, I don't consider for travelling. My big 10 x 12 travel briefcase has rings for a 3 ring binder, 1 small zippr pouch, felt to hold needles, and two large zippered pouches. It zips around the outside like those old school 3 ring binders. However its not deep enough to easily hold balls of thread, so I use it mostly at home or to demos where I don't need much thread.
