my comfort tat is the vance edging.
we are the few, we are the proud, we are TATTERS!
My comfort tatting is just doodling. No pattern, no destination, just play with my shuttle.
Always, the basket edge bookmark. Repetitive count and beautiful, lacey results!

Not sure this is quite easy enough to be a comfort tat: Frivole's Happy Heart (see this thread: http://www.intatters.com/showthread....2393#post72393).
I've just tatted it a couple of times, and it's small and fun and goes really fast, and it's pretty. But you have to be comfortable with the Catherine Wheel Join, or you won't find it relaxing!![]()
I'm interested to see the Vance edging and basket edge bookmark. Could someone point me to them?
Flower. There is one, that's the basic pattern, can be see everywhere and in every book. I make that when I'm thinking, waiting, got a cold. Its quick n easy and was the first pattern I memorized. Except when I blank out sometimes, I end up with extra rings so the flower becomes a spiral... of sorts!
I hope you will soon feel better, I had a long illness last year and tatting was one thing I could do, I did not care what I tatted any pattern would do, I love the split ring rose thanks for sharing that great pattern.
