Has anyone tried dyeing a piece after it's been tatted? Sometimes I would like the color to be at specific points, but with pre-dyed thread it's just random.

i have tried with bingo dabbers...its not a color fast method, i don't think but it makes some really pretty effects.

Sounds fabulous! You could make a simple little ring and chain motif to give a whirl.
